My last night here...

I had to sleep alone last night in my crate and did not like it that much.. so at one point Elif took me in her room and I slept with her and Louie..
In the morning we went to the park again, this time I did go in the little doggie pool !!! AA was very excited. It was a bit more crowded today and ahuge german shepherd and a large white lab came I was very comfortable with all of them.. and loved rolling in the dirt and trying to dig holes until AA realized.
My potty training is kinda suffering AA is puzzled and is thinking that maybe Louie has accidents has once in a while I am picking up on his scent. I also might be waaayyy too excited to think about peeing/pooing outside because there are so many other things I would rather do who wants to take time to find a spot to pee/poo and take off from play. Hopefully when I go home I will do a lot better.
AA is taking my crate out of the room does this mean I will be sleeping in the living room or maybe I am going to my own home to mom and dad ? My bag is out here on the dining room table too hmm..

A chill day at the house and no my name is not Dumbo Elif !

Elif loves petting me and says I feel like those softie CVS blankets ? huh ? well whatever would make me get more smooches and kisses.

But hey ! so my ears are a bit big.. but that does not give you a right to call me DUMBO Elif !!! my name is Leyla (AA is not sure she is spelling it right)

Oh and last night at the house that we went everyone complemented how well mannered I was
YEY ! Hear that mom ? dad ?

I overheard AA say that she will need to start winding me down so my mom wont get mad at her.. so no outings today and maybe only a short dog park tomorrow morning will be it. Today all 3 of us are very tired anyways from yesterday and we are laying around taking naps all day long at one point AA even wondered if we all found some fun drinks from last nights party and passed out..

AA loves the fact that I am always around her even in the dog park yesterday she did not need to worry about me taking off and I would be great for taking on hikes and such.. as Kara just takes off. However that also means that I am very unhappy if there are no humans (especially my present mommy figure AA) are around even if the doggies are here... AA thinks I will grow out of it around 14-15 months as I am still a baby.

My food was a bit different this morning as it had some of Kara and Louie's food along with mine but of course it did not stop me from inhaling it.. heard AA get mad at herself for measuring my previous meals too generously .. so guess my next 2 meals will be like this until I go home. I seem to tolerate variety of foods well (Louie had some stinky poo this morning in the house because of last nights munching on steak and fish my poop was perfect and I waited until 8:30 until they took me out AA was soo happy I got showered with kisses) so AA doesnt think mixing foods will upset my stomach for 3 meals.

Louie and I are becoming best buddies and I love picking on him and playing hide and seek when he goes under the couch..

AA says I am smelling really nice like cloves. Wonder if my food has cloves in it ? Also she was quite entertained that one of my hind toesies has a pink nail.. whereas all the others are black..
She is saying she will really miss me .. and is hugging me a lot today.

WOW I was almost exhausted Saturday was such a fun day !

Saturday morning started weird again.. I was sleeping with Elif and Louie in the guest bedroom because 2 other girls came middle of the night and were sleeping in her room... we were all cozy and AA walks in again in the dark and puts the leash in.. oh boy.. whats up with this woman ! Anyway we go outside do our busi.. and she leaves us in the room.. Hmm.. whats up with this. This is a totally weird schedule in this house I hope I will not lose my potty training skills as I did have an accident. AA says it was her fault as the house is soo chaotic she did not see me standing by the door.

Couple of hours later she came home stinking of lake water again (I really want to know where she has been and was sniffing her like crazy... ) and Kara and me started picking on Louie again.. What AA you mean he is going somewhere and he should not be tired ? Why are you taking him ? We were just playing.. oh.. and you are wiping him down and putting some body spray on him ? Can I have some.. yikes don't like it makes me sneeze ! Where are you going ??? dont leave us again !




So AA and Louie (who was all pimped up ) left.. we stayed home and lots and lots of people started coming in I was loving it and was totally puzzled why Kara was freaking out and trying to bark at everyone. Oh well.. must be her thing I will just go and shower everyone with kissies they all LOVE me ! After a while Kara either got used to the idea or her vocal chords needed a break and I think she gets some courage from me when I walk up to everyone.. she finally stopped barking and was just walking around in a 'whatever' mode.. not quite pleased with the invasion of people but not minding it that much either since they did seem like a lot of fun and most importantly seemed to be dropping yummy snacks as they munched..

AA and Louie came back a couple of hours later and Louie was totally exhausted so went on the couch.. where I proceeded and jumped on UF's lap .. he was pleasantly surprised of course AA wanted to take a picture but deleted the nice one . !!! really ?? UF really liked me on his lap(dont be fooled that he looks frowning he was concentrating on the tennis ) and said that I was a perfect combination of Kara and Louie he loves having soft cuddly company who does not talk(lol) when watching tv.



Then AA and UF packed us up while the house was changing into a very festive state.. marshmallows flying in the air.. Oh and we went on the patio and got to chase some ping pong balls ? that they were trying to get into the cup.. and why were they mad because we drooled over them ? Cant we play too >? oh wait that was supposed to go in your drink and you do not want doggy slobber on it. .we get it.. but Kara especially would not let them play and was grabbing the balls all the time.

AA , UF, me, Kara, Louie hopped in the car and after a long ride while Kara was whining all the time we came to a park that Kara was very excited about,. Louie had an expression on his face that said 'oh no not again .. I just want to chill on a couch I am wiped out from hanging out with all the doggies outside of a store in the heat and this place is tiring I know !'

AA let Kara loose and she took off like a bullet where we could barely make her silhouette behind the dust cloud her hooves(ehem paws) were creating.. wait wait !!! Then AA let Louie off the leash well at least he was hanging around and not taking off I really am not sure there are soo many dogs off leash and wait there is water over there and they actually are running and going in ? I am not quite sure of this.. wait you are taking me off the leash too ?. Are you sure ? Ok I will just hang around you..






After a little while I felt a little better about wandering off..





Then AA went in the water and I just went right with her and started swimming.. UF did not want to get wet so we are a bit away from the camera but you can see AA with me and a while pup swimming around her after that Louie and Kara came too and we had a blast running around the park.





We all went to a trail in the park but Kara decided to take off so we went back to find her.. there were soo many dogs there ! I loved it !
After a while we went to a bench which had a nice hose nozzle specially made for us and showered with a yummy smelling shampoo.. dried up and went in the car I loved taking a shower especially the belly and back scrub that I was getting with it.
Just as I thought we were back home we stopped somewhere else got off the car and was let loose in a nice garden ! What is going on ?
I was not certain how I felt about this place until the dad of the house started feeding us steak and other yummy stuff.. omg.. I love it ! But we all got into trouble when we started digging under the rose bushes .. oooppssss....
The ride home was very quiet as we all were really tired and went to our sleeping areas this time I got to sleep with Sibel ! YEY !!!

Last night I slept in my room by myself, although I was expecting to sleep with AA on the bed she told me that I needed to sleep in my own little room.... I know AA was checking on me cuz I heard her outside the door listening to me. I think I pretty much passed out cuz it was a long day after complaining just a bit.

Friday morning AA came around 7 and let me out.. oh I had sooo much energy now and was practically bouncing off the walls. 'Kara was getting back what she did to Candy when she first came back' AA said.. wonder who Candy is and what exactly am I doing to Kara.. I just like jumping over her.. going under her... giving her hugs with my front legs.. and kissing kissing kissing her relentlessly.. is that bad ??Hard to get these humans sometimes.

We immediately went to the park, and there were these machines that made big noises with guys riding on them.. cannot tell that I liked them that much but as long as I was close to AA all was good !

Kara is following me when I get near to people. wonder why she is scared of them everyone is soo nice ! Maybe she will follow me when I go to them.. couple of other doggies came to the park now I am running a lot more today but did not want to go into the pool that Kara practically was lying in... AA tried to play frisbee and fetch with me but it was a bit hot.. I kinda like laying in the hole that I dug up. What now ??? Digging holes are not allowed.. geesh thought it was a 'Dog Park!'

Louie and I really hit it not sure whether you can see the video mom.. it seems smartphones have a hard time with videos.

AA got mad at me and Kara cuz we practically ganged up and started playing with Louie like a toy.. no one was complaining sooo.. did not really get what the big fuss was about.

Oh forgot to tell you AA found out a couple more things about me.

• I do not mind kinds but I do get scared when they pounce on me (well duhh !! I cannot understand how Louie tolerates it unphased Kara will not even let kids get near her)


• I like sitting under stuff.. tables, chairs.. anything..


• I have a huge deep sounding bark ! Haha and you thought I was this tiny little puppy.. I am growing up !

So much for now.. I need to take a nap under the table.. rumor is Tomorrow we might go to a doggie social at a store with an adoption event (Louie is supposed to show up as one of the success stories) then dog beach, take a shower cleanup, and then a late outing with the whole gang.

Busy day for AA

Heard from AA that she had the day off and ha lots of stuff going on I had a blast at dog park this morning ... AA said she would update blog later !

And explain:why you woke up before dawn ?

t is really dark and I am sleeping nicely on the cushy bed with AA. Then the alarm goes off and she gets off the bed opening the light. Wait ! The sun is not even up yet what are you doing ? Before I am fully awake a leash is put on me and we go out where I figure I am expected to produce something so I pee. I am excited that we got a head start in the day but wait ? What ? The crate? Oh no you got2 be kidding me .. the sequence is wrong.. it is dark I went out did not have breakfast and am back in the crate ? Yeah I see you have a treat for me but still... hmm.. ok I will just go in if you really want me to.
I must have slept a bit cuz noone heard me complaining for the next 2 hours until AA showed up all stinky - where exactly did she go that she came back stinking like a swamp ???? -- released Louie from the next room and me .. I had missed my buddies throughout the night so we kissed, licked and greeted each other. Surprisingly King Louie was not as appalled by my presence today and was even giving me kisses. Bipolar much ?
Then I see Kara and Louie sit patiently by UF. who is having breakfast.. hmm.. maybe I should join them after all they know what they are doing here. Yeah ! smart decision.. I got a little piece of toast with butter seems like a ritual here I LIKE IT !
AA told me she was very proud that I did not cry and wake others up while she was gone !

Leash on.. again ? where are we going? Oh not to the sliding doors.. to the car ? Are you sure ? Am I supposed to jump in the car ? I really am not sure of this my mom left me here if I go somewhere else will she find me ?
Kara who was waiting patiently behind me suddenly had enough and just jumped over me into the trunk.. Louie followed going in the back seat.. I was certainly not going to miss whatever they were excited about. So I went in too.

During the drive Kara could hardly contain her excitement and was bouncing all over.. whereas Louie having a bit motion sickness was laying in the back seat.. We got off at a parking lot where one of AA's friends was waiting for us and took Louie by the leash so AA only had me and Kara.
We walked down a nice park then.. omg there are loose doggies in that area.. AA first let Kara then Louie go.. then let me go.. And off I went..
Initially only for short distances.. and then eventually I actually started circling the dog park going with Kara. There was this pitbull mix which I really liked but got scared when she got rough.. and I hid under the table. But I would be out immediately chasing after her.

Everyone in the park knew I was coming and they were soo nice some even gave me some treats.




It is kinda hot so I think I should just dig a hole and bury myself into the cool dirt.. ahhh.. that feels good. What AA ? whats wrong ? but I like the dirt.. Oh wait there is a doggie pool she wants me to go there where D and Kara are playing but I am not quite sure what to do.. maybe tomorrow ?

AA was again very happy that she did not need to chase me down and I came immediately as we were leaving and walked up to the car without making any fuss..

We all got a wipedown when we got home to get rid of some dirt then was breakfast time and some sit/down training.. phew it was a busy morning... now it is rest time I should just snooze by AA's feet under the table. I am soo happy that King Louie is not acting like a gremlin today makes life much better !

My first night was cushy !

What do you mean I have to sit and sometimes lay down when a cookie is offered. But hey if food is involved just consider it done c'mon give it to me cant you see I am drooling ?

Well after awhile things settled down and it was dinner time before I knew it. Everyone got their own food but I was too distracted to eat so auntie a (AA) had to guard my food from King Louie while I was grabbing a bite and wandering around while chewing it ... who was trying every venue to get a bit more food. It must suck to have a slow metabolism he is supposed to eat sooo little probably thats why he is always grumpy. No endorphins.
Then uncle fred (UF) came and loved my greeting yeah ! score .. sweet !
He said that I actually resembled a hound.. the ears the nose angle.. hmm said AA. you might very well be right.

I showed AA that I was ready to retire by jumping on her bed and wagging at her inviting her to go to sleep.. but I guess this bed is off limits.. ooops here I am nudged down gently. Ok point taken. But can I go on the couches ? There was a surprised gasp from others but then they chuckled and let me sit on the couch and watch tv with everyone since I gave one of my 'unresistable' pretty puhlleease looks with teary puppy eyes.

Bed time came and we went into catland (aka other side of the house where Bela and Guido kitties reside) Only Louie has dual citizenship and can go anywhere he wants as Bela and Guido are fully armed a doggie really needs to know what they are doing going in there.

My crate is in a green room.. AA came in too and got into the bed and invited me too. YEY !!! it is a small bed but we can make it work, I was extremely happy about the idea of sleeping with auntie and showed my appreciation by showering her with kisses.

I was very quiet through the night and did not even move that much but at one point I got the hickups out of nowhere !!! It woke me up and was quite uncomfortable then suddenly AA says 'BOOOO' in a loud noise I get spooked.. but.. hickup was gone. Go figure !

And actually I am the instigator now how about that ???

I am back in Orlando !

After a scary visit to the vet (phew ! there was no poking involved just a shopping trip) and driving through quite wet weather we made it to a house that looked vaguely familiar.
As soon as me and my mom approached the door hell broke loose inside ! Wait a sec I kinda do remember these doggies.. they are the crazy bunch with the little one with a 'Napoleon complex' -- as my mom said. As we were trying to get in the mom of the house squished the head of her human daughter ouch ! as the others were a bit too anxious to greet us.
Ok this is getting kinda scary too much commotion.. I will not be able to hold in my #1.. better to let it go outside instead of indoors. Hmmm..... that felt a lot better.
Taking a deep breath I confidently step inside (well more like my mom had to give me a good nudge) then I saw them the 2 black crazy doggies.. One could not wait until I started playing with her.. whereas the other surely wanted me to know that he was the boss omg am I in trouble ?? Mom ! who are these and how do I play with them ?
Let me try laying on my back that usually does it.. but nahh the older one is nudging me to run whereas the other one is going ballistic on her. oh boy.. I am totally confused but oh well they look like fun let me go along and see where that takes us.
I am going to show what a good girl I am and I peed and pood outside just as my mom told me to !
Wait ! mom where are you going ? Did you forget about me ????
Bummer.. hmm... now what do I do.. oh the big one looks like fun let me go and pick on her.. oh yeah now I love this kind of play she is a bit rough but I kinda like it as she does not mean harm.
Oh AN AWESOME BONE ! time to settle and recharge..
